And the field was looking amazing on the 22nd! I hope you can recoupe the damage.
It appears I am really behind on reading your posts. But this scene looks similar to one we experienced here in late June. Even though it was slow going, it turned out to be one of our best fields. It was planted on an old alfalfa field.
