It’s
that time of year again – National Bird Week and you still have a couple of
days to participate in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count. It only takes 20 minutes
to join in.
For the record I counted 9 species and 51 birds in total.

ReplyDeleteAgreed for the Aussie Count but research tells me that the UK does one too via the Big Farmland Bird Count: https://www.bfbc.org.uk/ though unlike ours it seems to be farm specific. You'll have to look into whether all can participate.
DeleteWe do have a general bird count too. I've not heard of the farm one. I'll look it up because it may include crofts. Thanks.
