I had a magpie sitting on our garden fence singing today. Lovely, but not as photo worthy as this gorgeous chap and background.
Is that mustard or canola behind the bird?
It's canola Marie.
I adore the magpie's song.
The magpies used to be a menace at The Cottage when I lived in New Zealand.
We have a lot of them on the other side of the mountains-- in Eastern Washington.
