For a while I have been banging on about our country’s lack of concern for food security. And here we are. Sadly we will actually run out of rice this year, fresh milk is safe but only just & we started importing wheat last year. These are three staples that are important in food security. I think when this is all done we need to take a good look at what is important to us as a nation and put food production right up there.
I ALWAYS enjoy your photos. My biggest problem is that there are only so many superlatives one can use before it becomes repetitive and trite. Please don't stop, though.
Not just Australia, the whole world needs to take a good look. But I fear that the turn to nationalism and tribalism will mean... I watch our Orange Idiot and his enablers doing virtually nothing to stem the tide, and I am fearful. Graham (above) echos my thoughts. My constant superlatives need revising. Perhaps I should give a number score. Today's is a 10!
Not for a long time have we been so reliant on our rural producers.
