This paddock was planted September 2017. Normally we have our lucerne in for 5 years before planting a break crop for 2 years. The lack of water allocation is changing how we are going to go about things.
The earth is so dry in many areas, but in others they are flooding! The weather patterns are changing and it does make it hard for farmers. I hope you get the rain and/or more water allocation. It just doesn't seem fair.

Oh dear. Not enough water, or something else?
ReplyDeleteNo water allocation for 2 years has taken its toll on our lucerne. The stand thins out and is not viable to continue with.
