The radio station, NPR, plays daily here at home, informing us of world news. Every day Australia is mentioned and I think of you and yours, the land you love, and the work you've put into it. Please stay safe and pass along our wishes to those you know. We're sending thoughts of rain, lots and lots of rain.
Having similar smoky and eerie skies here in NZ really brought it home to us how everyone must be suffering over there. I hope you and yours (including the firefighting one) stay safe.
Here too. Awful isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSad :(
ReplyDeleteIt does make for remarkable pictures... Still, so very sad.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos that you could do well without!! Cheers Diane.

ReplyDeleteSad! Incredible! Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteThe scene is interesting , but the reason is so sad.
ReplyDeleteEerie and frightening. Last night I saw images of a beach and cove, solid black with ashes. Incomphrehensible!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad photo
ReplyDeleteDo stay safe. I hope you are surrounded by farm land as you have less fear of spreading fire.
ReplyDeleteYes we are Larry. The closest fire is about 150kms to our east so a long way away.
