Each year we host Year 11 students from a high school on the south
coast of NSW. They are studying Earth & Environment, Agriculture or Food
Technology and our farm is part of their six day camping field trip focusing on
the Murray Darling Basin.
It is always a pleasure to have them on farm… keen to
learn and not afraid to ask questions.
I am sure they learn a lot from their field trips, and am glad that you enjoy them too.
ReplyDeleteI remember from last year. Any challenging questions?
ReplyDeleteThis year there was a lot of discussion about drought and water policy. The most challenging question - why do we keep doing what we are doing? Got to admit it is a question I ask myself quite regularly at the moment.
DeleteI have been wondering if you ever ask yourself that question.
DeleteIt is always great to support education! Well done!
ReplyDeleteHow cool and how great of you having them there
ReplyDeleteIT's good that you do this--- And your operation is a goldmine of information.
ReplyDeleteI am sure they leave with a lot more knowledge and education than they had on coming.
