box-shaped is far more efficient for shipping. I can't imagine how you'd have a big truck load of round ones. Likewise the big bales--- more efficient for big shipments. Modern farm equipment sure does help! Besides, this is nice image-- the tractor, the trailer, the stack, and the contrail.

I don't think anyone in Scotland has square bales any more. They all seem to be round.

ReplyDeleteThose are bigger square bales that I had to toss around as a kid. Machinery do the work and no manpower need, like haying crews.
