Thank you volunteer firefighters.
Thank you for putting your lives on the
line to save people and property.
Today
our local Rural Fire Service held its open day as part of NSW RFS Get Ready
Weekend. Open Days across NSW will be held
over the next week. Find out when your local one is. Go along. Learn how to plan and prepare for the summer ahead. And go along to personally
thank the volunteers that protect your community.
A big thank you to all the first responders, and to the firefighters who have been needed way too early this season.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get enough rain to grow things and to keep the fires away... But I also salute these people who risk their lives.
ReplyDeleteVolunteer firefighters do a terrific job. My nephew is a professional, that is paid, firefighter. I wonder how the two different get along. They are there for the same reason, to fight fires and one gets paid and the other does is from a sense of obligation to community.
ReplyDeleteFirst responders are lifesavers. They always show up when needed.
ReplyDeleteFirefighters, voluntary or otherwise, are great people and many of us owe our lives to their dedication and skills.
ReplyDeleteThe volunteer fire departments on this island do a great job too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture!!!
ReplyDeleteThey do an amazing job
ReplyDeleteThe firefighters are putting their lives at risk to save others. Thank you to all of them.
