The proof will be when it runs through the combine. We are going to try a new wheat variety this fall. It did well for people who used it this year. It's always a "roll the dice" kind of thing anyway with uncontrollable variables like weather.
We're trialling 3 different wheat varieties this year. They will be our seed for coming years so it is very interesting to see how they go. Already Trojan (on the left) is the standout.

With my vast agricultural knowledge, I will say the dark green wheat will be better than the light green wheat.
