Welcome to Farm-ily Vicky. Glad that you have popped by. For the last 6 years I have shared a photo-a-day from our farm here in southern NSW, Australia... with usually not too many words. But I will give you an explanation for this photo - we produce a variety of hay for different markets. The hay is tested for feed values, colour, texture & type to determine which market it is most suited for. We use a drill and corer to get samples from inside the bales of hay. This photo shows 3 cored samples.
