It's probably an illusion because of the wind spoiler, but your trucks seem to be taller than ours. Super picture, Lynda.
I don't think ours would be taller but I'm pretty sure you are allowed longer truck/trailer combinations in the USA than we are here.
With that much dust the road must lose its top surface and need a lot of maintenance.
The local council upgraded this road last year but the surface has really powdered up over summer. So yes, a lot of dust has come off.

Even a dusty scene can make a great photo.
When I first see that tree I am certain to where it was taken. It is a striking photo with lots of movement with that dust.
