You did well to spot a gum tree through that dust! There is actually quite a few gums in this photo and don't forget the Australian native tree front & centre - it's a Silky Oak, Grevillea robusta.
How discouraging for you! Our spring photos looked like that last year, and now, we are muddy. So I'll hope you get the moisture you need ... without too much! It's a delicate balance, isn't it?
The dust even reached our place in Kandos yesterday. It took me a while to figure out why the mountain the horizon was obscured and why the sky had such an odd pink light.
I can only spot one gum tree. How un-Australian. 😜

DeleteHere too. Rather a lot of dust - which I have just been out photographing.
ReplyDeleteIt's as if the 'bikie' has done a huge broadside. I bet you wish that that was the truth.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of when we lived in Mafikeng in Africa!! Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteCough.

ReplyDeleteThat does not look good. Hope you get some rain.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, not good to be the middle of that plus the mess of dust everywhere..
