    A superb photo of a beautiful little bird. Such feather detail and the bright egg-yolk yellow head markings. Colour in nature is a wonder to behold.

    A beautiful bird of which I had never heard. It was indeed fortunate to have survived the rescue. So many small birds suffer heart failure when rescued.

    I have always wanted to see a pardelote up close. They seem to prefer the high canopy.
