Still mornings are very rare on Lewis so I enjoy seeing others' such mornings. I've caught up now with the posts I missed. I was trying to recall if I have ever seen two kookaburras together at the same time. I don't think I have. For some reason they are a bird that makes me happy (happier than I usually am, that is).
It's because they laugh! I do love hearing the kookaburras in the morning. It is said to be a sign of forthcoming rain... that hasn't been the case of late but I love hearing them just the same. We have a couple of breeding pairs that call our farm home.
Thank you Ruth. I have a Sony Alpha58 so nothing real flash but I love it. Also have 3 lens - standard, zoom and a macro... not real expensive ones though. Given that my camera is always by my side whilst out on the farm I didn't want to spend a fortune on my gear in case it got damaged.
Here in Canberra, the morning wasn't as still. Nor nearly as beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe golden hour is looking good.
ReplyDeleteWow, quite beautiful. Have a good weekend, Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast to the setting sun. I hope the day passed as peacfully as its beginning.
