I've not a clue what the bird is. No doubt comments will reveal.
It is a Blue-faced Honeyeater, an infrequent visitor to the farm.
Ok, it looks large for a honey eater.
They are the largest of the Honeyeaters, about the same size as a Butcherbird or Magpie-lark.

Interesting and intriguing.
I'm intriqued as to what you were doing, that had him looking so intensely.
Watching me photograph him I guess! Though it could have been my constant companion (i.e. Jack Russell) that got this interest or concern.
I don't think they can look any other way than intently....
