Hay is right to be feed out to stock the day that it is baled as is fully cured before it is baled. So yes, it was just waiting for the right market for sale. There was an oversupply of cereal hay made in 2016 throughout SE Australia, so the lower grades have a taken a while to shift.
Hooray for Hay Caps.
ReplyDeleteLooking good

ReplyDeleteYou DO have an amazing farm!
ReplyDeleteLooks great and a nice day for working.
ReplyDeleteImpressive!
ReplyDeleteCurious yet again - was it maturing from Dec 16, or just waiting to be sold?
