The everyday of our family farm
Am I correct in assuming that is a crop?
Yes, lucerne, or alfalfa as it is known in the US, is our main crop that we make into hay. We cut it every 28 days over summer. This paddock that I was watering is about 40cm high.
Alfalfa. I should have known. Thanks.
We used to grow lots of lucerne for our horses in Rhodesian days. So good for them. Diane
A restful, cooing image, to enjoy in a our humid heatwave!
Very cooling--- which I don't need at the moment. But it's lovely.
A good place to put ones feet maybe.
Well... yes it is... and I may have unintentionally done just that.
