I think the dead overseas tourist count from redbacks is quite low. We have more efficient ways of killing them, with crocodiles, drop bears, hoop snakes, spitfire caterpillars, driving on the left hand side of the road and our marvellous sharks and oceans.
Well captured - amazing markings we used to have a photo on the wall in the Emergency Department so we all knew what one looked like plus literature. Never so far have I heard of anyone I know being bit by one and we have a few here in certain places in the garden so we are careful.
