I am full of admiration of you being out of bed at that time to take the photo. My alarm clock has a dual alarm and I thought of setting the second alarm to get up and take a look a midnight, but alas, I realised it would be hidden by our building.
Thanks Andrew, but I don't deserve such admiration... this photo was taken at 6.30am when the moon was setting. And, like you I didn't get up to view the eclipse at midnight either!

DeleteIt was a dud in eastern Canada. Happy to you see you had a much better display.
ReplyDeleteMuch more atmospheric when it's rising or setting than when it's high in the sky. I love the colours and atmosphere here.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photo, all we saw is cloud!!! Diane
ReplyDeleteNice capture of the moon and sky colors.
ReplyDeleteSuperb capture, Lynda.
ReplyDeleteWondrous beauty!
ReplyDeleteAlas, for me, the clouds settled over the horizon just as the moon was to rise. We are now rejoicing with the rain they brought.
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt was gorgeous......
ReplyDeleteNot bad and your sky is also not as dark as it was down here.
