Amazing picture. Once again you find remarkable compositions in unexpected places.
When I see those in some places I wonder where the water comes from.
Some could be connected to bores that pump ground water. Our water comes out of a gravity feed irrigation scheme that was set up in the 1940-50's as a post war building project to drought proof parts of inland Australia - the Snowy Mountain Scheme.
Thanks for the explanation. There were obviously some far-sighted people around so far as your area is concerned.
