The wind that came through with the cool change on Tuesday was unbelievable. Trees down, roofing damaged further south from here in northern Victoria. Where there is no irrigation everything is very dry, specially as all the winter crops have been harvested, but yes it takes a mighty wind to pick up that much dust. I haven't been through a storm like that for a long time.
Ack. I remember those.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look real good. Such dryness cannot yield a good crop.
ReplyDeleteNow that does NOT look like fun!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely caught.
ReplyDeleteWe had our own "dust storm" this week when we moved cattle from one location to another. We could definitely use some rain.
ReplyDeleteI know about sort of dust storm all to well! I hope you get some much needed rain soon... and maybe a little snow for Christmas.
DeleteVery unpleasant to be caught in. Seems strange after all the green of your pics.
