We try not to have it happen too often. Last week we were filling some of the wheel tracks in with sand and we will do them all in this paddock after we cut it for hay.
We occasionally have similar problems in the peat areas. The hope is always that there is something larger to pull you out. I do recall, about 40 years ago, we lost a digger which was using a bore to determine the depth of the peat. It's still somewhere under what is now a tree plantation.
Hopefully not for long.
