I must admit I don't know what the plant is either. And my quick researching has come up with no answers! It is a large tree, not an Australian native, that was probably planted in the 1950-1960's. It always attracts a mass of bees for a week in Autumn.

ReplyDeleteYes it is wonderful to still have the bees around in Autumn. Some of the wattles are flowering at the moment too and they always attract the bees.
