Blog Post #1500
Over 4 years ago I set
out to photograph and record a year on our farm. The continued interest in our
farm and what we do on day-to-day basis has spurred this journey way past that
one year project.
Another milestone has been reached today.
1500 blog posts…
1500 days… 1500 (+ 000’s more) photos
To us it is just our everyday but
photographing it has become a real eye-opener to everything that goes on around
us: the change in the seasons, the birds & insects, the sunsets &
sunrises, the tiny details and the huge horizon that we have out here.
Thank
you to everyone who has encouraged me along this journey. I love that my photos
tell the story of our farm and that you are interested in seeing that story. I
am also greatly appreciative that my family still allows me to stalk their
daily movements with camera in hand.
And I still can’t see myself stopping, not just yet
anyway.
Congratulations on post #1500. I enjoy the farm photos as I like to compare it to our farming in western Canada.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love seeing your farm life and wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for your dedication to reach this milestone and not a bad shot to be found. I just love how you always get the perfect angle, light, subject etc. You do an amazing job bringing the country to the city.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Congratulations. And thank you - and your family.
ReplyDeleteCongrats.. I always enjoy my visit here!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you in carrying on with your blog. I don't always comment but I am looking every day. It is a amazing feat to come up with a different photo every day but you did it.
ReplyDeletePat on the back. It has many pictures and many stories. But everything is different. And I really enjoy watching images of your farm and work there. Congratulations !!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. As one of your new followers I hope to be with you for the next 1500.
ReplyDeletelooking forward to the next 1500 post of photos.......
ReplyDeleteYou seldom say much, but I do so enjoy your photos. Some are stunning. Some are banal. Oddly perhaps, it is the banal I really like. So my cunning plan of using a blog mate who is a senior person at ABC radio who has contacts with ABC Riverina has not worked to give you publicity and there hasn't been an invitation to the local studios for an interview. ABC Riverina loss and quite puzzling as I think you would go down well on local radio. God forbid, maybe Macca will pick you up.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on all those posts. You have shared some amazing photos.
ReplyDeleteTaking my camera with my along my walks had made me see thing differently too.
Well done, some days I know how difficult it is!! Diane
