Did you notice the ones just left of center and bit below center in the up and down direction...it is two birds! If you click to enlarge you can see just a bit of the second bird's head behind it. I was seeing the wing and thinking, no it can't be...then I thought well, it looks like I can see a bit of a second set of tail feathers...then when I expanded the view I see a bit of a second head!
They put the f in flighty some days. A lovely shot. Some young ones there too.

These are just our regular galahs, no black backs. The photo was taken early in the morning so the shadows add an interesting dimension.
DeleteI thought that was the case but the morning light certainly makes the grey very dark. I was fascinated.
