It takes about 5-7 days from mowing the lucerne (alfalfa) to having it baled and stacked in the shed, weather permitting of course. We can cut the lucerne multiple times per season, ideally every 28 days to get the best feed testing quality, aiming for about 5-6 cuts of hay per season.
