One wouldn't want to argue with that machine! I was curious to see the Australasian Magpie so close. In my experience they fly away when anyone goes within 50 yards.
I'm thinking of a country music song where one of the phrases is "kickin' up dust!"
I have to admit, Facebook is convenient...but I still like visiting blogs and seeing your excellent pictures. I like this one very much!

The bird is a Pied Butcherbird.
Ah. Not an Australasian Magpie. I've never even heard of a Pied Butcherbird.
