    1. We were about to cross the cattle over a road when this photo was taken. The person at the top of the photo is stopping the cattle from coming out onto the road until the cattle are all together and holds them there until there is no traffic on the road. There are two of us at the back that then move them up to cross the road when given the all clear.

  7. We are rounding up cattle in one of our pastures today to bring them home for the winter. We'll haul them in trailers back home, but we'll use our 4-wheelers to round them up. Love the photo!

    1. I do find it very interesting that you bring them all back in your big trailers. Those type of trailers are not seen at all in Australia. Farmers here use commercial cattle trucks to shift cattle from property to property if they are not within walking distance.
