Motherly love.
We are fortunate that
our farm is only 10 minutes away from Australia’s longest river, the majestic
Murray River. The River Red Gum forests & wetlands alongside the river are
a natural habitat for koalas.
Pretty excited to come across this koala with her joey
on a walk this morning.
I would be very, very excited. Brilliant find.
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteGreat to capture a koala so close up. For foreign readers, they are not very cuddly.
ReplyDeleteAwwww......cute photo!
ReplyDeleteIt's exciting for me to even see a picture !! Cute but not very friendly ....right ?
ReplyDeleteYes you are right - koalas are not known for their friendliness.

ReplyDeleteHow fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about Koalas today because we are out at our block and I was looking up the trees. Remembering how hard they are to spot in the wild. You did good to find one.
ReplyDeleteWe found quite a few actually which was wonderful to see. I say "we" but really just "he". I am no good at spotting them, but hubby is.
