Is there part of a sun dog on the lefthand side? We have had beautiful sunrises the past two mornings. I was happier with my photos this morning than I was yesterday. Try, try and try again! I had to fight the mosquitoes today. Yesterday, there was enough of a breeze to help keep them off me.
I haven't heard of the term sundog before, I just thought it was a sun ray. My subsequent reserach tells me you are probably right in calling it a sundog and it was certainly cold enough for one to form.
Hope you guys get to rest and regroup a bit as the busy season slows down with winter. We're to hit 92 on Friday so I guess it's time to put the AC in.
How beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAlways miss the sunset and sunrise up your way because we have driven through and not stopped a night.
They're not always like this, but because of our huge horizons we do get to see a lot of each sunrise and sunset.
DeleteDramatic and beautiful.
