Different paddock. This is a paddock of dryland lucerne that some cattle are grazing. At this time of year the lucerne browns off. Once the cattle have finished grazing it we will run the mulcher through it (like a slasher or mower) to cut off the tops of the lucerne which will encourage new growth. We will also undersow with a crop of oats.
With a subtle beauty all of its own.
ReplyDeleteI agree... subtle beauty!
ReplyDeleteAwesome... out of this world!
ReplyDeleteNice shot! The fog really makes this image great.
ReplyDeleteIt would have reminded me more of autumnal mists but then I'm used to rather different climates.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite beautiful. Well done, Lynda.
ReplyDeleteAre we on the same farm? The lush green is gone. The tones are sombre. What will the morning reveal?
