The trees in their sorts are the only difference between our flat countries. Absolutely beautiful... as well as the photo, as usual. Greetings from The Netherlands,
I'll admit it did take me a while to appreciated that flat landscape. My childhood was spent on a dairyfarm with rolling hills and valleys. Now I can't see myself living anywhere else. The seemingly never ending horizon and big sky, the sunrises & sunsets, the stars at night... it really does grow on you.
I should have added big skies to my list Lynda. I haven't lived in a city (which was by the sea) since I was in my early 20s and when I visit friends in towns now it is the lack of big skies that I notice most.
Very flat indeed.
ReplyDeleteLove those clouds.
Certainly flat, but beautiful Australian country.
ReplyDeleteFlat.. but beautiful!

Lovely sky and band of sunlight/
ReplyDeleteI had no idea land could be so flat! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the light!
I'm not sure how easily I'd cope. I've always lived near sea and more rugged terrain.

ReplyDeleteLovely skies...a hint of rain to come? We have had such a long spell of rain and this week has been so nice. But more rain is forecast to start today.
