These are Straw-necked Ibis. They are quite large, grow up to about 75cm tall with a wing span of 1 - 1.2metres.

I always find it fascinating to watch bird like this land in a tree! Also, sort of surprises me that they do. Not sure why. Have you ever seen any of the Pixar short films? The reason I ask is this photo reminded me of this one
