No there is not a lot of irrigation water available for our district. Our allocation for this season is only 23% so we have to be very mindful how and where we use that water.
Australia is the driest continent in the world so careful usage of this precious resource is paramount for sustainability of both the environment and food production.
Then I suggest that you have a talk to Barnaby Joyce and closer, his very smart Deputy, Fiona Nash - Young area. I have met Fiona - she has plenty in the "Upstairs Area": ie; BRAINS! Cheers Colin
