Actually we don't. We are smaller than the average Australian farm. But we are very specialised in what we do... lots of hay! Our machinery reflects this, but this truck is not ours. We transport some hay ourselves, but we also get other carriers to transport some hay.
This truck is a b-double i.e. it has one small lead trailer at the front and a semi-trailer at the back. It can carry up to 40tonne (Australian tonnes that is, which are a little different to US tonnes).
That is quite a load.
ReplyDeleteIt is starting to dawn on me that you have a very big farm.
