Just ogled all the recent farm pictures Lynda - loved all of them of course. So beautifully presented. Your one photo says everything that I seem to need a narrative and ten photos to portray! :) I too have had the absolute pleasure of having nesting kookaburras in a tree near our farm house in Tasmania and the Hunter. It was marvelous.
How lucky you are. Beautiful birds, with an enchanting song.
ReplyDeleteThat's one not likely to be seen in our neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteCute little thing. Hope they will be safe.
ReplyDeleteSo glad they made it. Diane
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear them... Actually, I'd love to hear anything. An ear-sinus infection has me feeling a bit cut off these days. Thanks for your posts.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling much better soon Bill.
DeleteI need to look them up again...I think I remember what they sound like but not sure. Fun to watch, I bet.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Kookaburras that gathered near where I stayed in Sydney a year or two ago but I've never seen one in NZ.
