While I don't watch for rain with the same anxiety you no doubt do, I just today noticed the unwatered grass in the city is browning, so it must be some time since we have had any decent rain.
Never an easy decision. Good luck. We have been promised rain and promised rain. They have lied. And, while my livelihood doesn't depend on it I am watching, waiting and hoping. Which you must be to the nth degree.
I'm sure it has to be hard to decide what to water and what not when you haven't had much rain. Hope you get some soon. - This is a lovely picture though.

ReplyDeleteTough decisions indeed.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile we are complaining about grey skies and it keeps raining! Great shot. Diane
ReplyDeleteSo many places are so dry--- and so many other places are so wet! It's weird. I hope things get wetter there. Lovely picture, as always.
ReplyDeleteA world wide dilemma! Flood irrigation! Brings back memories!
ReplyDeleteA tough decision. The crop looks good let's hope it continues to be.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty scene, though I know it also represents a dilemma as you make decisions about water or lack thereof.
ReplyDeleteThose would be such hard decisions!
