Your guess is as good as mine! Seriously though - hay season is really only just beginning. Normally we commence hay making mid October, starting with the cereal hays. We then move onto our lucerne (alfalfa) hay which continues till April. It is normally a long season. This year it will be cut short as we have very little irrigation water allocated (i.e. 12% at the moment). This will only keep us going till December.
