I had to look up your use of the word paddock, slightly different than what we use it for here. Wondering if that is clover? We are 5" below normal in rain this year here...but much much better than the drought of a few years back.
This is a paddock (field) of newly sown lucerne (alfalfa).I do love the differences in our terminology across the seas! Hope you get some much needed rain soon.
I hope you have more moisture (much more) than we do.
ReplyDeleteMoisture probe. Soil moisture seems to be a worry world wide, Australia very much included.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. Greetings and best wishes.
ReplyDeleteHope he got what he was looking for...lovely photo..
ReplyDeleteVery important to know what is going on under as well as on top, Diane

ReplyDeleteAlways things to be done!!
ReplyDeleteYour paddocks are very different to ours!
ReplyDeleteVery, very different. It is pretty flat our here compared to your beautiful rolling hills.
DeleteI hate worrying about water for gardens/crops. I do hope you get enough for things to do well.
