The everyday of our family farm
That is one BIG vehicle. A big dairy farm, or multiple stops?
This load is going out to a dairy that milks about 500 cows.
I like folk that don't mess around.
That's a lot of fertilizer.
It is wrapped bales of silage (high moisture hay). not fertilizer. Really good feed for dairy cows.
Beautiful!
Love the perspective of this shot!
YAY! Hay customers! A very good thing!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
If it's going to a dairy, it's great-quality hay! Congrats! I love the colors in this shot.
Thanks Kim. We would actually call this silage, which has much higher moisture content than hay, hence why it is wrapped to preserve it and keep it air tight. And yes, it is very high quality lucerne (alfalfa).
Looks like hay to me, great shot. Diane
Always interesting to see how it's done across the Pond!
