Because it is so flat, and therefore our horizon is so big we do get to see a lot of the sky. Not always as impressive as this though. We don’t tend to have days of drizzly weather rather just rain bands as a front comes through. Living where we do we don't get a lot of rain to start with so every bit is very much appreciated.

Yes, when you live inland on the driest inhabited continent in the world you get to appreciate every bit of rain.
