The everyday of our family farm
Stunning image. What is being irrigated? Here our skies are grey. No rain though. We really, really need it.
This is lucerne (alfalfa) being irrigated with a centre pivot. Yes, rain would be great for so many areas.
Awesome scene. I get the feeling you would like to see some clouds with plenty of rain.
Thanks Andy. Yes, as with most farmers we are looking to the skies for that Autumn break, a rain that will start the planting of winter crops.
So pretty!
Doesn't it make your heart sing when we see fabulous blue skies like in your wonderful image!
Now you have the song in my head, too! We don't irrigate on the County Line, but my parents and brother do, so it's a familiar scene in South Central Kansas, too.
Blue skies - it doesn't get better than that!
