We farm using irrigation, both pivots and surface (flood) throughout spring and summer. Unfortunately we have had to start much earlier than normal due to dry conditions. At the moment we are watering up our lucerne (alfalfa) which we would not normally have to do.

Those things fascinate me. I love seeing them in the fields, but hate that conditions require the use of them.
