You know it is hot when there are clusters of
dragonflies seeking respite in the garden.

Even the Galahs are feeling the heat.

And I'm very excited to give you an update on our family
of Kookaburras that made a nest in the hayshed
The 2 chicks have flown the nest.

This is what a wind storm does to raked lucerne.
Took 3 hours this morning to sort out after I did such a beautiful job of raking yesterday morning.

The sun rises on a new year, and it finds me raking again.

It was New Year’s Day 2013 whilst I was raking in the wee hours of the morning listening to the radio that I was inspired to challenge myself with this daily photographic blog. A year on and I have learnt so much, have a renewed passion for photography with a partiality for sunrises & sunsets (did you notice?) and still enjoying it, that I don’t think I will be able to stick to just one year. So more photos for 2014 I think. Can’t promise it will be every day like 2013 (bar the holiday), but we will see how we go.

Thanks for all your continued support and encouragement.
